TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM DISTRICT 24 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE JEFFERSON COUNTY PUBLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION TO PAY FOR PROGRAM EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL OR GROUP COUNSELING SERVICES AT THE YOUTH SERVICES CENTER AT SOUTHERN HIGH SCHOOL.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $6,000 is hereby appropriated from District 24 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation to pay for program expenses associated with providing individual or group counseling services at the Youth Service Center at Southern High School.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
