A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE USE OF AN UNDEVELOPED PORTION OF BOBBY NICHOLS GOLF COURSE OWNED BY LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT LOCATED AT 4301 EAST PAGES LANE BY COTTON SPORTS, LLC.

WHEREAS, Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (“Louisville Metro”) is in the process of entering into an agreement with Cotton Sports, LLC for the development and lease of an undeveloped portion of Bobby Nichols Golf Course owned by Louisville Metro located at 4301 East Pages Lane; and
WHEREAS, the proposed development will consist of a multisport facility to be constructed by Cotton Sports, LLC, which facility would be used by local, not affiliated, sports teams; and
WHEREAS, Louisville Metro will receive benefits from the proposed improvements to be made to 4301 East Pages Lane by Cotton Sports, LLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Council hereby approves of the proposed use of an undeveloped portion of Bobby Nicholas Golf Course owned by Louisville Metro located at 4301 East Pages Lane by Cotton Sports, LLC and authorizes Louisville Metro and the Metro Parks Department to effectuate all documents to accomplish this purpose.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
