AN ORDER TO APPROVE A $10,000 PERFORMANCE BOND FOR THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT CLERK EFFECTIVE AS OF JANUARY 4, 2022.

WHEREAS, in accordance with KRS 67.120, the clerk of the legislative council of a consolidated local government shall execute a bond to be approved by the Council; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government has determined that a $10,000 Bond is sufficient to insure the faithful performance of Sonya Harward in her capacity as Clerk of the Metro Council; and
WHEREAS, Sonya Harward, Clerk of the Metro Council, has executed a bond on January 4, 2022 to be effective commencing with her reappointment, and which is eligible for renewal every year thereafter for as long as she continues to be reappointed as Clerk of the Metro Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“METRO COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Bond executed by Sonya Harward, Clerk of the Metro Council, a copy of which is attached hereto, is hereby ratified and approved for the period beginning January 4, 2022.
SECTION II: This Order shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
