AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $9,675 FROM DISTRICT 21 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO BRIGHTSIDE FOR THREE YEARS OF MAINTENANCE FOR 45 TREES PLANTED IN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAYS IN DISTRICT 21.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $9,675 is hereby appropriated from District 21 Neighborhood Development Funds to Brightside for three years of maintenance for 45 trees planted in public right of ways in District 21.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
