AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $11,242.80 FROM DISTRICT 16 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, TO PUBLIC WORKS, FOR STREETLIGHTS IN THE JAMES T. TAYLOR/JACOB SCHOOL NEIGHBORHOOD, INCLUDING A FIVE-YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH LOUISVILLE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $11,242.80 is hereby appropriated from District 16 Neighborhood Development Funds, to Public Works, for streetlights in the James T. Taylor/Jacob School neighborhood, including a five-year lease agreement with Louisville Gas and Electric Company.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
