WHEREAS, the funding has been approved by APHL; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this opportunity,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept funding in the amount of $250,000 from Gilead Sciences, Inc., for integrating HIV and hepatitis C testing into routine clinical screening to be administered by Public Health & Wellness.

SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
