A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $1,114,000 FROM THE LOUISVILLE AND JEFFERSON COUNTY METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT FOR REMEDIATION OF SHAWNEE PARK TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government, by and through the Metro Parks Department, wishes to enter into an agreement with the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $1,114,000 from the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District to remediate Shawnee Park impacted by the construction of a retention basin within Shawnee Park.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
