A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $350,000 FROM THE LOUISVILLE AND JEFFERSON COUNTY METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT FOR REMEDIATION OF LANNAN PARK TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government, by and through its Metro Parks Department, wishes to enter into this agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $350,000 from the Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District to remediate Lannan Park impacted by the construction of a retention basin within Lannan Park.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
