AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE STREET NAME OF A SECTION OF HIGH WICKHAM PLACE TO JAMES THORNTON WAY AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 16STREETS1016).

WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission, as set forth in the minutes and records of Case No. 16STREETS1016, has recommended to the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the “Council”) that changing the name of a section of High Wickham Place, from its intersection with the north side of Old Henry Road and running northwest approximately 650 feet to its terminus, to James Thornton Way, and being in Louisville Metro, be approved as being in compliance with the technical review of the Planning Commission’s staff report; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission in Case No. 16STREETS1016 and approves and accepts the recommendation of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records;
Now therefore be it ordained by the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government as follows:
Section I: That the name of a section High Wickham Place, from its intersection with the north side of Old Henry Road and running northwest approximately 650 feet to its terminus and as more particularly described in the Planning Commission’s minutes and records for Case No. 16STREETS1016, be changed to James Thornton Way.
Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval.
