WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized accept a grant from the National League of Cities of $20,000 for the Cities Connecting Children to Nature initiative to enhance the goals of the West Louisville Outdoor Recreation efforts and the ECHO Program.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
