A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A GRANT OF $20,000 FROM THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CITIES FOR A CITIES CONNECTING CHILDREN TO NATURE INITIATIVE TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized accept a grant from the National League of Cities of $20,000 for the Cities Connecting Children to Nature initiative to enhance the goals of the West Louisville Outdoor Recreation efforts and the ECHO Program.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
