A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A BANFIELD FOUNDATION GRANT AWARD TOTALING $11,000 SUPPORTING THE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL METRO ANIMAL SERVICES MEDICAL EQUIPMENT.

WHEREAS, Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through Metro Animal Services.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a Banfield Foundation grant award totaling $11,000 supporting the purchase of additional Metro Animal Services medical equipment.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Resolution will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
