A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $125,408 OF ADDITIONAL FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR CONTINUATION OF THE LOUISVILLE LOOP MULTI-USE PATH PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept additional funding of $125,408 for the continuation of the Louisville Loop Multi-Use Path Project by extending the project end date to June 30, 2020.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
