AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 42 OF THE LOUISVILLE/ JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO CODE OF ORDINANCES TO UPDATE THE FEE STRUCTURE FOR QUAIL CHASE GOLF COURSE (AS AMENDED).

WHEREAS, Metro Council recently amended Louisville Metro Code of Ordinances (“LMCO”) § 42.43 (E) to modify the fees charged at Louisville Metro-owned golf courses;
WHEREAS, Quail Chase golf course regular season (hereinafter “summer”) rates were not deliberated during these amendments and the Quail Chase summer rates are substantially higher than other Louisville Metro-owned golf courses;
WHEREAS, Metro Council desires to bring Quail Chase golf course summer rates into greater parity with other Louisville Metro-owned golf courses;
WHEREAS, Metro Council hereby amends Chapter 42 to update Quail Chase Golf Course fees to provide for greater parity in overall course management.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: LMCO Chapter 42 is hereby amended to provide new rates for Quail Chase Golf Course summer fees as described and, specifically, Section 42.41 (D)(2)(e) is amended as follows:
(e) Quail Chase (9-Hole) Course.

SECTION II: The title for LMCO Section 42.41(D)(2)(a) is hereby amended as follows:
(a) Seneca, and Charlie Vettiner, and Quail Chase (18-Hole) Courses.
SECTION II III: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
