TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 072, SERIES 2020 AND ORDINANCE NO. 073, SERIES 2020 RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021 CAPITAL AND OPERATING BUDGETS, RESPECTIVELY, BY TRANSFERRING $700,000 FROM THE LOUISVILLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY OPERATING BUDGET TO THE MIDDLETOWN LIBRARY RELOCATION PROJECT FOR EXPENSES RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION AND MATERIALS (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Part I., Deputy Chief of Staff, E. Louisville Free Public Library, of Ordinance No. 072, Series 2020, is hereby amended as follows:

a. c. The Middletown Library Branch will reopen no later than December 31, 2020 at 12556 Shelbyville Road with standard branch hours. The Metro Council requests a report from the Louisville Free Public Library at a meeting of the Metro Council Budget Committee, no later than March 31, 2021, to update the community on the progress of the project and its expected completion date.
SECTION II: Part I., D. Deputy Chief of Staff, of Ordinance No. 073, Series 2020, is hereby amended as follows:
1. LOUISVILLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY
a. General Operations
(1) General Fund 19,939,800 19,239,800
(2) Agency and Other Receipts 2,358,300
Louisville Free Public Library Total 22,298,100 21,598,100
SECTION III: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
