AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,500 $3,300 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $1,500 FROM DISTRICT 9; $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 3; $500 FROM DISTRICT 2; AND $300 FROM DISTRICT 15; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO GIRL SCOUTS OF KENTUCKIANA, INC. FOR VENUE RENTAL AND FENCING COSTS FOR THE VIA COLORI FESTIVAL TO BE HELD OCTOBER 24 AND 25, 2026 (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $1,500 $3,300 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,500 from District 9; $1,000 from District 3; $500 from District 2; and $300 from District 15; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Girls Scouts of Kentuckiana, Inc. for venue rental and fencing costs for the Via Colori festival to be held October 24 and 25, 2026.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
