AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $16,680 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $6,680 FROM DISTRICT 20; AND $5,000 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 11 AND 22; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO 21ST CENTURY PARKS, INC. FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH INSTALLATION OF A NEW GEOTHERMAL HVAC UNIT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $16,680 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $6,680 from District 20; and $5,000 each from Districts 11 and 22, through the Office of Management and Budget, to 21st Century Parks, Inc. for costs associated with installation of a new geothermal HVAC unit.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
