TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $8,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $8,000 FROM DISTRICT 12; TO METRO PARKS FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE RIVERVIEW INDEPENDENCE FESTIVAL TO BE HELD JUNE 27, 2026.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $8,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $8,000 from District 12; to Metro Parks for costs associated with the Riverview Independence Festival to be held June 27, 2026.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
