AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 126, SERIES 2007, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008 CAPITAL BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 090, SERIES 2009, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 CAPITAL BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 119, SERIES 2012, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2012-2013 CAPITAL BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 088, SERIES 2021, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 CAPITAL BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 011, SERIES 2026, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 CAPITAL BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 092, SERIES 2025, RELATING TO THE FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 CAPITAL BUDGET, BY TRANSFERRING AND CONSOLIDATING FUNDS BETWEEN PROJECTS WITHIN VARIOUS LOAN FUNDS TO FACILITATE MORE EFFICIENT PROJECT ADMINISTRATION (AS AMENDED).

WHEREAS, Louisville Metro Government, as it existed both before and after merger, has been awarded federal and agency funds for various revolving loan programs; and
WHEREAS, the original appropriations from those awards have been disbursed and repayments made; and
WHEREAS, additional subsequent loans have been made with those repayments consistent with the intent of the original awards, and repayments and subsequent loans will continue to be made on an ongoing basis; and
WHEREAS, the balances in the various accounts into which these loans are made could change on a daily basis; and
WHEREAS, Metro Government would like to consolidate all the loan programs from the loan programs listed in Sections II - IV below, into four categories for ease of administration of the loans; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Management & Budget has the authority to establish the following accounts and to transfer the current loan balances as to June 30, 2026 from these various loan programs to the accounts identified in Section V.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Office of Management & Budget has the authority to establish the following accounts and to transfer the current loan balances as of June 30, from these various loan programs to the accounts identified in Section V.
SECTION II: Part I., Economic Development, of Ordinance No. 126, Series 2007, is hereby amended as follows:
