AN ORDINANCE RATIFYING AND APPROVING A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT (JULY 1, 2014 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2021) RELATING TO WAGES, HOURS, AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BETWEEN THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AND THE CARPENTERS INDUSTRIAL COUNCIL FOR AND ON BEHALF OF EMPLOYEES OF CODES AND REGULATIONS DEPARTMENT (C&R), DEVELOP LOUISVILLE AND SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIVISION (SWMS).

WHEREAS, a Collective Bargaining Agreement has been reached between the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and the Carpenters Industrial Council for and on behalf of employees of Codes and Regulations Department (C&R), Develop Louisville and Solid Waste Management Services Division (SWMS).
be it ordained by the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government as follows:
SECTION I. The Collective Bargaining Agreement (July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2021) reached between Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government and the Carpenters Industrial Council for and on behalf of employees of C&R, Develop Louisville and SWMS which relates to wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment, be and is hereby ratified and approved, and the execution of said Agreement by the Mayor on behalf of Metro Government is ratified and approved. A copy of the Collective Bargaining Agreement is attached hereto.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
