RESOLUTION NO. 121, SERIES 2022
TITLE
A RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO THE CAPITAL AND OPERATING BUDGET ORDINANCES APPROVING THE APPROPRIATION TO FUND THE FOLLOWING NONCOMPETITIVELY NEGOTIATED SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT FOR HOSTING MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT OF THE REVENUE COMMISSION'S TAX SYSTEM - FAST ENTERPRISES LLC - $390,000.00.

WHEREAS, the Revenue Commission published a Request for Proposal for a new tax system and, after receipt and evaluation of the publicly solicited proposals, executed a contract for that system with Fast Enterprises, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the Revenue Commission desired to move the system from an in-house based set of hardware to hosting on the Internet, thereby requiring a new contract for the system, and to provide for maintenance and support of same; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Council approved a Sole Source Contract to accomplish this and approved an appropriation of the funding for the first 5 months of the Contract; and
WHEREAS, the total value of three-and-a-half-year contract, subject to appropriations, will be $1,329,205.00; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the contract for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 will be $390,000.00.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION I: The following appropriation for the listed contract is hereby approved:

REVENUE COMMISSION
$390,000.00 for a noncompetitively negotiated Sole Source Contract with Fast Enterprises LLC for hosting, maintenance and support of the Revenue Commission's tax system, said appropriation to be applied to the contract period from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
