TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $2,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $1,500 FROM DISTRICT 10; AND $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 8; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO HIGHLANDS COMMUNITY MINISTRIES, INC. FOR ITS INDIVIDUAL FAMILY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $2,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,500 from District 10; and $1,000 from District 8; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Highlands Community Ministries to for its individual family assistance program.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
