AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM DISTRICT 8 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET TO THE HIGHLAND COMMERCE GUILD, INC., FOR THE BARDSTOWN ROAD AGLOW FESTIVAL EXPENSES INCLUDING ENTERTAINMENT, ADVERTISING, ETC.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The sum of $6,000 is hereby appropriated from District 8 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget to the Highland Commerce Guild, Inc., for the Bardstown Road Aglow Festival expenses including entertainment, advertising, etc.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined that the funds requested in this Ordinance shall be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:  This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
