TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $82,401 FROM DISTRICT 23 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO PUBLIC WORKS FOR INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS THROUGHOUT DISTRICT 23, AND A FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH LOUISVILLE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $82,401 is hereby appropriated from District 23 Neighborhood Development Funds to Public Works for installation of street lights throughout District 23, and a five-year contract with Louisville Gas and Electric Company.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
