A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $86,400 OF FUNDING FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR THE IROQUOIS PARK RUNDILL ROAD MULTI-USE PATH PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to accept funding of $86,400 for the design phase of a multi-use path along Iroquois Parks’ Rundill Road. Design will reduce lanes to 10 feet for vehicular traffic and designate 10-foot lanes for bike/pedestrian traffic and add 10 rest stations along Rundill Road.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
