AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $1,500 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 13, 3; $3,000 FROM DISTRICT 5; $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 9, TO METRO PARKS FOR THE ENGAGING CHILDREN OUTDOORS (ECHO) PROGRAM.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $7,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,500 each from Districts 13, 3; $3,000 from District 5; $1,000 from District 9, to Metro Parks for the Engaging Children Outdoors (ECHO) program.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
