WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through Louisville Metro Police Department,
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
 
SECTION I:  The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $25,000 from the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Funds will be used to fund initiatives targeting aggressive cars and trucks.
 
SECTION II:  This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
