TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $12,722.62 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $6,361.31 EACH FROM DISTRICTS 19 AND 20; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE EASTWOOD FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT FOR AN ALL-TERRAIN RESPONSE VEHICLE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $12,722.62 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $6,361.31 each from Districts 19 and 20; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Eastwood Fire Protection District for an all-terrain response vehicle to address health and safety concerns and other emergencies within the Parklands and surrounding rural areas.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
