WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Planning Commission, as requested by Resolution No. 030, Series 2014 of the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government (the "Council"), held a public hearing on this amendment and recommended to the Council that a text amendment to Section 8.1.4 of the Land Development Code be approved to add a new Section C relating to relocation of nonconforming on-premises signs when Government or a public utility exercises eminent domain over property and being in Louisville Metro, the amendment being attached as Exhibit A, all as set forth in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 14AMEND1002; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission in Case No. 14AMEND1002 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records and the amendment attached as Exhibit A.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The text amendment to Section 8.1.4 of the Land Development Code to add a new Section C relating to relocation of nonconforming on-premises signs when Government or a public utility exercises eminent domain over property attached as Exhibit A and being in Louisville Metro is approved.
Section II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and approval.
