TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 $15,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 15; AND $5,000 FROM DISTRICT 10; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO MINISTRIES UNITED OF SOUTH CENTRAL LOUISVILLE, INC. FOR SALARIES, RENT, AND UTILITY COSTS FOR THE JIM KING SENIOR WELLNESS CENTER (AS AMENDED).

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE “COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 $15,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $10,000 from District 15; and $5,000 from District 10; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Ministries United of South Central Louisville, Inc. for salaries, rent, and utility costs for the Jim King Senior Wellness Center.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
