A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,720 TO PROVIDE TITLE III-B ACTIVITY SERVICES AS INDICATED IN THE KENTUCKY REGIONAL PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT AGENCY’S FISCAL YEAR 2017 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation may accept $13,720 from the Kentucky Regional Planning and Development Agency; and

 

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this Agreement with   Kentucky Regional Planning and Development Agency through the Department of Parks and Recreation.

 

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement and receive a stipend in the amount of $13,720 from the Kentucky Regional Planning and Development Agency to provide Title III-B activity services encompassing health and education programs as indicated in the Kentucky Regional Planning and Development Agency’s Fiscal Year 2017 Unified Planning Work Program, funded by grants from one or more of the following: the Federal Transit Administration, the Federal Highway Administration, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, and the Indiana Department of Transportation.

 

SECTION II:  This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
