A RESOLUTION ADOPTING REVISED GUIDELINES FOR THE CLIFTON HISTORIC DISTRICT AND BEING IN LOUISVILLE METRO (CASE NO. 14LM1002).

WHEREAS, a thorough review of every Guideline for the Clifton Historic District (the "District") was conducted over a three year period; and
WHEREAS, the District's Architectural Review Committee as required by Section 32.258 of the Landmarks Ordinance approved the revised Guidelines attached to this Resolution by a unanimous vote following a public hearing on July 9, 2014 and forwarded the revised Guidelines to the Landmarks Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Landmarks Commission as required by Section 32.258 of the same Ordinance approved the revised Guidelines without any amendments by a unanimous vote following a public hearing on August 21, 2014 and now submits them to the Council for review and adoption; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Commission in Case No. 14LM1002 and approves and accepts the recommendation of the Commission as set out in said minutes and records.
Now therefore be it RESOLVED by the Legislative Council of the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government as follows:
Section I: The revised Guidelines for the Clifton Historic District attached to this Resolution are hereby adopted.
Section II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
