AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $6,000 FROM DISTRICT 5 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, TO BRIGHTSIDE FOR 2014-15 FISCAL YEAR MAINTENANCE OF "BRIGHT-SITES" LOCATED AT N. 22ND AND OWEN STREETS AND AT 3400 W. BROADWAY; $3,000 ALLOCATION PER SITE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $6,000 is hereby appropriated from the District 5 Neighborhood Development Funds, to Brightside for the 2014-15 Fiscal Year maintenance of "Bright-Sites" located at N. 22nd and Owen Streets and at 3400 W. Broadway; $3,000 allocation per site.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council's Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
