AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $9,500 FROM DISTRICT 19 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SPEED ALERT SYSTEM FOR THE CITY OF MIDDLETOWN KENTUCKY POLICE DEPARTMENT.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $9,500 is hereby appropriated from the District 19 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the City of Middletown Kentucky Police Department for the purchase of a speed alert system.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
