TITLE
AN ORDINANCE RE-ADOPTING THE NEIGHBORHOOD PLANS AND AMENDING PLAN 2040 WITH NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN EXECUTIVE SUMMARIES.

WHEREAS, by Ordinance 085, Series 2018 the Metro Council adopted the updated Comprehensive Plan ("Plan 2040") effective January 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Louisville Metro Planning Commission, the Planning Committee reviewed neighborhood plans and the development and maintenance of the Comprehensive Plan relating to all approved neighborhood plans that had executive summaries adopted as amendments to Cornerstone 2020 in case number 18NEIGHPLAN1004; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on November 15, 2018 the planning staff determined that the executive summaries of these plans should be adopted as amendments to Plan 2040 and the Planning Commission adopted a resolution (attached as Exhibit A) recommending that the adopted neighborhood executive summaries be adopted as amendments to Plan 2040; and
WHEREAS, the Council concurs in and adopts the findings of the Planning Commission in Case No. 18NEIGHPLAN1004 and approves and accepts the recommendations of the Planning Commission as set out in said minutes and records.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The neighborhood plans as described in the minutes and records of the Planning Commission in Case No. 18NEIGHPLAN1004 are hereby re-adopted and the Executive Summaries are hereby adopted as amendments to Plan 2040.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
