BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The sum of $28,500 $29,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $10,000 each from Districts 22 and 24; $5,000 from District 20; and $3,500 from District 10; and $500 from District 13; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Fern Creek Fire Protection District for costs associated with the purchase of hazardous materials response equipment.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:                       This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
