TITLE
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A $307,000 GRANT FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY TRANSPORTATION CABINET FOR AN EDUCATION AND ENFORCEMENT GRANT FOR PEDESTRIAN SAFETY ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS & ASSETS.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.
 
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
 
SECTION I:  The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept the grant from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to conduct an education and enforcement safety campaign.
 
SECTION II:  This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
