A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT FUNDING FROM THE KENTUCKY BOARD OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF $10,000 TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR STAFF TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the application for the funding has been reviewed and approved by the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services; and
WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through the Department of Emergency Medical Services.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept funding from the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services in the amount of $10,000 to provide training and education to staff to be administered by the Department of Emergency Medical Services.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
