BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:  The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $3,000 each from Districts 3 and 21; $2,000 from District 15; $750 from District 4; $500 each from Districts 9 and 24; and $250 from District 17; through the Office of Management and Budget, to South Louisville Community Ministries, Inc. for costs associated with the Taste of South Louisville fundraiser event to be held August 22, 2026.

SECTION II:                     The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.

SECTION III:                       This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.

SECTION IV:                     This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
