WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Department of Public Works & Assets.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:

 

SECTION I:                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $120,000 from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet for the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Bike/Pedestrian/Motorist Education and Safety Campaign Grant. Funds will be used by the Department of Public Works & Assets for the Louisville Bicycle & Pedestrian Program which focuses on the Four E’s: encouragement, education, enforcement and evaluation; and Two P’s: policies and programs.

SECTION II:                      This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
