AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 IN DISTRICT 5 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS AND $5,000 IN DISTRICT 6 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR VARIOUS ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS TO BE HELD IN PARKS AND COMMUNITY CENTERS THROUGHOUT DISTRICT 5 AND DISTRICT 6.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $15,000 is hereby appropriated from District 5 Neighborhood Development Funds to Metro Parks Department for various activities and programs to be held in parks and community centers throughout District 5.
SECTION II: The sum of $5,000 is hereby appropriated from District 6 Neighborhood Development Funds to Metro Parks Department for various activities and programs to be held in parks and community centers throughout District 6.
SECTION III: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION IV: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
