AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $1,000 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 15; THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO LOUISVILLE INDEPENDENT BUSINESS ALLIANCE, INC. FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SOUTH POINTS BUY LOCAL FAIR TO BE HELD JULY 12, 2026.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $1,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $1,000 from District 15; through the Office of Management and Budget, to Louisville Independent Business Alliance, Inc. for costs associated with the South Points Buy Local Fair to be held July 12, 2026.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
