AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 206, SERIES 2016 RELATING TO AN APPROPRIATION FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO FERN CREEK/HIGHVIEW UNITED MINISTRIES, INC. IN ORDER TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT APPROPRIATED FROM DISTRICT 23 FROM $1,000 TO $3,000 $4,000. (AS AMENDED)

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: SECTION I of Ordinance No. 206, Series 2016 is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION I: The sum of $7,000 $9,000 $10,000 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $4,000 from District 22; $2,000 from District 24; and $1,000 $3,000 $4,000 from District 23; through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Fern Creek/Highview United ministries, Inc. for capital improvement expenses associated with replacing the floor of a food pantry.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
