A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT UP TO $400,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, UNITED STATES FOREST SERVICE FOR THE JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FOREST ADDITIONS PROJECT ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to enter into this agreement through the Metro Parks & Recreation Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Agriculture, United States Forestry Service, Southern Region to accept funding of up to $400,000 for Jefferson Memorial Forest Additions with an equal match amount from the Metro Parks & Recreation Department.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
