AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $18,250 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $15,000 FROM DISTRICT 13; $1,500 FROM DISTRICT 14; $1,000 FROM DISTRICT 24; AND $750 FROM DISTRICT 15; TO LOUISVILLE METRO PARKS AND RECREATION FOR COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE ANNUAL FOREST FEST TO BE HELD MAY 15, 2027.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $18,250 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $15,000 from District 13; $1,500 from District 14; $1,000 from District 24; and $750 from District 15; to Louisville Metro Parks and Recreation for costs associated with the Annual Forest Fest to be held May 15, 2027.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
