TITLE
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $15,000 FROM DISTRICT 26 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS TO THE LOUISVILLE METRO POLICE DEPARTMENT, 6TH DIVISION, TO ADDRESS CRIME CONCERNS AND TRENDS AS DETERMINED BY THE DIVISION MAJOR IN AN AREA GENERALLY ALONG HIKES LANE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The amount of $15,000 is hereby appropriated from District 26 Neighborhood Development Funds to the Louisville Metro Police Department, 6th Division, to address crime concerns and trends as determined by the Division Major in an area generally along Hikes Lane.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
