AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $5,500 FROM NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS IN THE FOLLOWING MANNER: $5,000 FROM DISTRICT 24 AND $500 FROM DISTRICT 13; TO THE LOUISVILLE FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR THE ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE COLLIDER PROGRAM AT THE SOUTH CENTRAL REGIONAL LIBRARY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $5,500 is hereby appropriated from Neighborhood Development Funds in the following manner: $5,000 from District 24 and $500 from District 13 to the Louisville Free Public Library for the Artist-In-Residence Collider Program at the South Central Regional Library.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval or otherwise becoming law.
