A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A NATIONAL RECREATION AND PARK ASSOCIATION GRANT OF $22,500 TO BE USED BY THE LOUISVILLE METRO PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR THE SENIOR WELLNESS PROGRAM.

WHEREAS, the Metro Government wishes to take advantage of this funding opportunity through Louisville Metro Parks Department.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to accept $22,500 grant from the National Recreation and Park Association in support of Senior Wellness Program activities.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
