A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT $30,000 OF FUNDING FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR, FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE FOR THE SALT RIVER CONSERVANCY PROJECT TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE METRO PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government, by and through its Metro Parks & Recreation Department, wishes to enter into this agreement.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service, to accept funding of $30,000 for the Salt River Conservancy Project to gather data and map important conservation features in the lower Salt River watershed.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
