A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT ON BEHALF OF THE LOUISVILLE METRO PARKS A DONATION FROM DARE TO CARE FOOD BANK OF TWO VOYAGEUR CANOES AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT TOTALING AN ESTIMATED VALUE OF $27,787.

WHEREAS, the Louisville Metro Parks would like to accept a donation from Dare to Care Food Bank of two voyageur canoes, one double trailer and related safety equipment.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (THE COUNCIL) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to accept a donation valued at approximately $27,787 from Dare to Care Food Bank of two voyageur canoes, one double trailer and associated equipment.
SECTION II: This Resolution shall become effective upon its passage and approval.
