AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $10,000 FROM DISTRICT 1 NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT FUNDS, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET, TO THE FULLER CENTER FOR HOUSING OF LOUISVILLE TO ASSIST WITH THE #STRIVEFORFIVEPARKLAND PROJECT WHICH PROVIDES PERMANENT AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR THE MOST ECONOMICALLY MARGINALIZED FAMILIES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL OF THE LOUISVILLE/JEFFERSON COUNTY METRO GOVERNMENT (“THE COUNCIL”) AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The sum of $10,000 is hereby appropriated from District 1 Neighborhood Development Funds, through the Office of Management and Budget, to the Fuller Center for Housing of Louisville to assist with the #STRIVEFORFIVEPARKLAND project which provides permanent and affordable housing for the most economically marginalized families.
SECTION II: The Council has determined the funds requested in this Ordinance will be expended for a public purpose.
SECTION III: This grant is subject to the Council’s Policies and Procedures as adopted and effective at the date of passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION IV: This Ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
